When Chester came to live with us in 1999, he had been shown occasionally, but was not finished. He had won Best Puppy at the National Whippet Club Of Canada Specialty in 1997. His first weekend out in Alberta, he picked up a BOB & Group 2nd to finish. In his short specials career he received several BOB's and Group Placements with limited showing. In August of 2000, he was awarded Best In Specialty at the Stampede City Whippet Club Specialty, in Calgary, AB under judge Mrs. Franicis Hickey (Ireland) - pictured below.
Chester was a very elegant dog with lovely side movement
and was clean coming and going. He
had a very playful temperament
which made him a joy to live with. Special thanks to Jody Paquette (Wenrick) for
allowing this outstanding boy to live with us.
Chester sired one litter out of
Can. Ch. Taymarc's Black Ice ("Ivy").

Sadly we very unexpectedly lost Chester in October of
2004. He was taken much too soon.
We still miss him....
